From Insight to Action: Climate Fresk with Our Nantes & Rennes Teams

A collaborative and immersive experience to strengthen climate understanding and spark action

We recently welcomed our teams to a 3‑hour internal Climate Fresk “second generation” workshop in Nantes, with the valuable participation of colleagues from our Rennes office.
This renewed and highly interactive format places collective intelligence at its core, encouraging shared reflection and concrete engagement.
Thanks to the involvement of participants, the session became a powerful moment of collective learning, exchange, and forward‑looking thinking.

From awareness to decision‑making: embracing the challenge of action

Beyond strengthening climate literacy, this session was designed to tackle a more complex and often critical question: how do we collectively move from understanding to action within the company?

While the first phase created a shared and robust understanding of climate mechanisms, the workshop deliberately pushed participants out of a purely analytical posture. The objective was clear: transform knowledge into realistic, prioritized, and actionable ideas that could meaningfully contribute to the company’s transition.

This shift in mindset set the stage for the workshop’s most demanding and impactful phase.

The Action Spiral: testing ideas against reality

The Action Spiral challenged participants to confront the real constraints of implementation. Working in small, interdisciplinary groups, teams were invited to move beyond ideals and explore what change could actually look like inside the organization.

Across three structured rounds, participants addressed key questions:

  • What actions can realistically be launched in the short term?
  • Which levers have the strongest potential impact at company level?
  • What obstacles (organizational, financial, or cultural) must be addressed to move faster?

This iterative process encouraged teams to prioritize, make trade‑offs, and stress‑test ideas against everyday operational realities. The exercise sparked candid discussions about feasibility, governance, and collective responsibility, turning abstract ambitions into concrete proposals.

Turning collective intelligence into strategic input

One of the key outcomes of this workshop lies in what happens next.

The actions, insights, and priorities identified during the Action Spiral are not meant to stay within the workshop walls. They are currently being consolidated and shared with leadership, with the explicit objective of informing future decision‑making.

These contributions will help feed the company’s upcoming environmental action plan, which will follow the completion of our carbon footprint assessment later this year. In this sense, the workshop becomes more than a learning exercise: it is a structured channel for employee input, reinforcing the link between grassroots engagement and strategic direction.

Sustaining momentum beyond the workshop

Climate engagement is a continuous journey, not a one‑off event. To maintain momentum, participants are encouraged to continue exploring and acting through complementary resources:

Sharing the experience and fostering peer‑to‑peer dialogue remains one of the most powerful levers for long‑term engagement.
