While these awards recognised outstanding individual performances, every employee who took part contributed to the overall success of the challenge and demonstrated that sustainable mobility is a collective effort.

More Than a Cycling Challenge

Mai à Vélo is about much more than rankings or kilometres. It encourages employees to adopt healthier habits, rethink their daily commuting choices, and discover that cycling can be both practical and enjoyable.
Throughout the month, participants replaced car journeys with bicycle trips, contributing to cleaner transportation while improving their own well-being. The challenge also created opportunities for colleagues from different offices to take part in a shared initiative, strengthening connections across teams through a common objective.
Every kilometre cycled represented a small step towards a more sustainable future, and together, those individual efforts resulted in a measurable collective impact.

Why These Initiatives Matter

At Horizon, sustainability is not only reflected in our long-term commitments but also in the everyday actions we encourage within our organisation.
Initiatives such as Mai à Vélo allow us to transform our environmental ambitions into concrete actions. By promoting active mobility, we support employee well-being, reduce the environmental impact of daily commuting, and encourage lasting behavioural change.
These initiatives also have a positive impact on the company itself. They strengthen engagement, encourage collaboration between colleagues across different offices, and foster a culture built around shared values and collective responsibility. They remind us that sustainability is not only about policies or strategies, it is also about the choices we make every day and the culture we build together.
The sustainably produced trophies awarded during the ceremony perfectly symbolise this philosophy, demonstrating that even the way we celebrate success can reflect our commitment to responsible practices.

Looking Ahead

The enthusiasm shown throughout Mai à Vélo 2026 confirms that employees are eager to take part in initiatives that combine personal well-being, environmental responsibility, and team spirit.
The Horizon&Beyond Foundation warmly thanks every participant for helping make this challenge such a success. We hope this initiative will inspire even more colleagues to choose active and sustainable mobility throughout the year.
Together, we are proving that lasting change starts with everyday actions, and that every journey counts.
